Drawing inspiration from the West End’s cinema and theatre heritage, the proposals aim to strengthen Leicester Square’s role as a major cultural and visitor destination, creating a development that better reflects the importance of one of London’s most vibrant and internationally recognised locations.

What we heard

Through our public engagement, we heard from 772 people.

80% of respondents said they were excited, very excited or interested to learn more about the proposals.

Most respondents were Londoners who live, work in or regularly visit Leicester Square, sharing the view that it is an iconic destination with the potential to become something even more ambitious on the global stage.
